Welcome! I spent the last few years teaching high school in inner-city Washington, DC and suburban Fairfax County, Virginia, then writing a book about the achievement gap.
Along the way I’ve served as a reader for the AP World History Exam and consulted for schools and districts on standards, curriculum and assessment. I’ve also had the privilege to be published in The Washington Post and spend time as a resident of the Sanchez Writer’s Grotto. Right now I’m a first-year student at Yale Divinity School.
